I am starting to notice the difference when I look in the mirror from all the hard work I have been doing with Sven. That guy is nuts and sometimes I get really mad at him because he pushes me so hard but at the end of the day I am grateful and happy that he is like this because I am seeing and feeling the results already. I know I am going to have to stick with it for at least another 90 days before I am going to see anything significant but at least I feel better physically and my cardio is much better now.

I did find 11 new girls to message and I also sent messages to a few of the older girls I was talking to in the past to see if there is anything there still. So far I have got back quite a few replies and clearly these girls are liking what they see and hear thus far. I am talking to 4 of these girls on MSN now and one of them I have been talking to on the phone because she is not very internet savvy and so she has never used instant messaging before and she said she would prefer to talk on the phone because that is what she is used to and also she said she really wanted to hear the sound of my voice. That is fine by me because I see that as better than talking on MSN. It is more personable and intimate to actually talk to someone with voice like on the phone or over voice chat like Skype but there is some good things about MSN. The main good thing is you can say things and ask questions more easily. I find it easier to discuss more intense subjects via msn because it is so inpersonable and you can't physically hear or feel any awkwardness.

The girls that I have been talking to are all various ages and different personalities. I am excited to be talking to so many different girls at once and I am seeing things in a whole new perspective. It is amazing how their cultural differences translate into the dating scene. There are a lot of hot girls in New York City and I am happy to get a chance to meet so many different girls and learning lots about them. I have to say I am learning a lot about women in general from this whole experience. I am working on setting up some dates for this coming weekend with some of the girls. The one thing that I am balancing now is that I have put out messages to multiple girls about going out with me this weekend and if more than 2 of them say yes then I am going to have to work something out or turn some of them down because it is not possible to go on more 2 dates this weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Well I have been back working out at the gym with a vengeance. I seen some younger guys last week that were looking so buff I was jealous as hell and decided I want to look like that. I want to look like I did when I was 21. Quite often women are attracted to me because I am smart, drive a nice car, wear nice clothes, and make lots of money but I want women to be attracted to me because I look hot and sexy I hired a personal trainer named Sven and he is quite the character. He pushes me really hard and that is something that I need because I get lazy easy when it comes to working out and I cheat and don't do as many reps or sets as I know I should. That is all different now that Sven is training me, he pushes me to do MORE reps and sets than I planned on doing. He is a slave driver but I can already feel the results so it's all good. He came highly recommended from a bunch of my buddies here in New York city.

Work has been quite busy and I am working on some pretty big deals right now, as usual. These big deals always take a long time to close and but when they finally do, it is all worth it and when they go sideways it always sucks big time because that means at least 90 days of work down the tubes Other than that life is pretty much the same workwise.

As far as women go, I have been slacking. The 20 girls I messaged, I got all kinds of messages back from them and some of them I followed up on but most of them I didn't contact back right away so I assume most of the have moved on or perhaps even met new guys already and are in relationships. I went through all the messages this morning and made a point of messaging each girl with something meaningful so I can qualify each one and shorten my short list, well I guess I mean make a short list of girls that have potential. Later tonight I am going to go through the whole site again and look at the new girls that have joined recently and see if there is anything that catches my eye. I am pretty sure I will find at least 10 new girls that I think are hot of various age ranges because so many new girls join the site every week. I will let you all know how that goes and also how the older girls I am working on go because I expect to get a lot of new messages over the weekend.

Hello my loyal readers, I hope you all had a great New Years Eve and Xmas vacation. I must sadly report that I have not yet heard back from Rhonda and I was hoping that maybe she just was busy with holidays and stuff but it is now the 5th and still no word from her. I am tempted to drive over and visit her again but I am worried about running into her psycho brothers and I am also worried about seeing her and her not wanting to see me, in other words, there is a reason she hasn't contacted me yet and maybe it is because she is bored of me or maybe she met someone new.

I have to focus on 2010 and the new women I am going to meet. I was really enjoying the time off and it sucks that I am now back at work. I haven't got much work done today yet, pretty much just been playing Lexicon on facebook all day hehe. I have also been searching through the online dating site I am a member of looking for new girls to meet. I have sent out about 20 different messages to 20 different girls and now I am waiting to get some replies back. It is amazing how many new girls join this site every week. I was begin to get worried that I had already found all the low hanging fruit but then I see these hot new chicks joining almost daily and I am like yay.

I have a meeting to go to soon, I have to leave in like 10 mins so I will keep this brief. Christmas was ok, spent that time with my parents in the Hamptons and my whole family was there. It wasn't bad other than all the snow and stuff. New Years Eve was pretty good, spent it in Times Square of course with a couple of buddies. We partied until 5am that night, was good times but left me with a killer hangover. I really need to start doing yoga again and start working out again because I am getting out of shape and losing my muscle mas and I am also starting to gain some fat. Talk to you all soon.

I drove over on Friday to the trailer park where Rhonda lives. This time I drove right into the park. I noticed several people staring and gawking at the car as I drove through the park. I wasn't sure if they were just admiring the car or if they were pissed off that I was driving through their place with such a fancy car. It took me a few laps to find her trailer. I could have found it sooner but I wasn't about to stop and ask for directions. There was some old truck parked in front of her place and I had no idea who's truck it was. I pulled up in front and was just sitting there for several minutes. I was contemplating whether or not to actually go up to the door. A big part of me was screaming to just get out of there as fast as possible and wait until I hear from her by email or something. I finally decided that I would go knock on the door and just as I was about to open the door, the door to her trailer opened and some redneck looking guy in his late twenties opened the door with a scowl on his face and a baseball bat in his hand and started walking toward the car. I was like wtf... do I start the car and get the hell out of there as fast as I can or do I face this guy? I decided I did not want to run so I opened the door and got out really quickly and said "Hi I'm looking for Rhonda". The guy walked right up to me about 3 feet away and just stood there silent. I repeated to him that I was looking for Rhonda and he was just like a bizarre statue standing there. So I just stood there and stood my ground as was like fine I guess we are just going to stand here and posture for a bit. All of a sudden Rhona bursts out of the door and runs up to us. She puts her hand on this guy's arm and tells him it's ok that she knows me that everything is fine and he can go back inside. She tells him that my name is Rob and she tells me that his name is Kevin and that he is her older brother. He grumbles a bit then puts the bat down and comes back and sticks his hand out to shake it. So I grab his hand and start to shake it and he has a really firm grip and I also gave him a really firm grip and we just stood there squeezing the shit out of each others hands for what seemed like 30 seconds. I can relate it to the feeling of being in an earthquake that only lasts 10 seconds but feels like it lasted for 5 minutes. Finally he releases my hand and says "He seems ok to me so far sis" and then turns and goes back inside. Once he is inside, Rhonda turns to me and throws her arms around my neck and starts to kiss me. She tells me that she missed me and she is sorry she didn't contact me sooner that somehow she misplaced my cell number and she hadn't had a chance to visit the internet cafe in a while. She invited me inside her trailer which I was really hesitant to do. I walk in and there are 2 guys sitting on a couch watching TV drinking beers. There was also a woman there standing in the kitchen cooking something that actually smelled very good. One of the guys of course was Kevin whom I already met and the other guy was named Paul and he was even older. He seemed a bit more mellow but when he noticed me, he stood up abruptly and walked over to me and introduced himself and shook my hand in the same fashion that Kevin did. Before I could even reply, Kevin says "Want a beer and throws a beer at me". I barely caught it and was like wtf that was fucked up. So I say thanks (of course) and crack it open and of course it foams over and some of it spills on the linoleum floor. I was like arghh do you have any paper towels and they both laughed. Then Kevin says "Hey ma, Rob here is a slob, wipe up the floor" and she comes over and wipes up the floor like some kind of slave. I was quite taken aback by the thing. I drank my beer pretty quick, wasn't thrilled about being there in the first place. Rhonda said she was had to go to work in 30 minutes so I was like ok, well I just wanted to drop by and say hi and I gave her my cell phone number again then left. I am still trying to process everything that happened.

Last Saturday was my date with that white trash girl named Rhonda. I decided I would take her to a sports bar type place with good food that I know of called "The Mean Fiddler". I knew that it didn't matter how she dressed that no one would care and she would fit in, if anything I would stand out. So I went to pick her up and luckily she told me she would meet me at the entrance of her trailer park because I didn't feel like driving in there and also the road appeared to be quite bumpy and shit inside. We agreed to 7pm and I arrived at 6:55pm and pulled over and parked. Sitting there was not fun as I was being constantly eyeballed by two shady looking characters that were hanging around the entrance to the trailer park. Hopefully they were just drug dealers wondering if I was looking to score and not something I need to worry about in the future like Rhonda's half brothers or something crazy. She finally came out at 7:10 and was apologetic for being late and she said that she had to help her mother with something. It was a good thing that I picked the sportsbar to go to and not a normal restaurant because she looked really trashy and slutty and cheap looking. The ironic thing was though that she smelt amazing, she smelt very angelic and fruity and I was thinking this girl is definitely a dichotomy. Even though she is rough around the edges, she is a very positive person. It always amazes me when I meet someone who comes from such a shitty environment and yet they are the happiest most positive person around. Not only does it amaze me, but it make me feel inadequate but more about that thought later. She was very impressed by my car and was acting like a bit of a schoolgirl on the ride to the bar. We got there and ordered a pitcher of beer and some steaks. The steaks were really good because they used this awesome peppercorn sauce and the peppercorns were all various colors. I love that kind of stuff.

I noticed a few people staring at us and it was almost as if I could read the expression of judgment on their faces like what is this guy doing with this weird girl. I hate to admit it, but she does look weird. She is hot though, and nice and has a great personality and I feel a bit like The Taming of the Shrew where I feel compelled to change her into a more refined creature. A girl/woman that I would more normally be attracted to. But I wonder if I did get her to change if I would grow bored of that because that is what I am used to and perhaps the reason I am attracted to this girl is because she IS so different from what I am used to and what I think that I want. After dinner I took her to a movie. That was a different experience than I thought it was going to be. She ordered a massive thing of popcorn and then just chomped on the popcorn throughout the whole movie totally oblivious to my existence. I am going to assume she behaved this way because she is white trash and growing up probably didn't have a lot of movie experiences because she was poor.

After the movie I decided to drive her home and play it a bit coy and see how she would respond. I realized that she was a bit of a tomboy and wasn't used to acting very feminine. Also wasn't used to being around a man and not acting like one of the guys. She was very strong but at the same time very weak and inexperienced with men. Outside of her house she hugged me and I wanted to convert the hug into a kiss but she pulled away and then looked back as she was running to her door and said bye and waved.

I stood there disappointed for what felt like 5 minutes but I'm sure it wasn't actually that long. Now it is Friday and I haven't talked to her all week. She isn't online much because she only has internet when she goes to the internet cafe down the street and she doesn't have a phone. I am thinking about just driving over there and knocking on her door. In fact that is what I am going to do.

Well that was a shitty day. And yesterday was pretty shitty too to be honest. I have been working on this huge massive gigantic account at work. I have been working these guys for 3 months now, bragging about how I was going to get the deal. This company represents 30+ of the largest bands in the world and they were looking to switch web design firms and redo ALL of their sites. I have flown to Arizona where they are located SIX times jabbering with their executives. God I hate dealing with large companies and all their corporate bullshit antics. Takes 37 people to make a decision and by the time they actually make a decision, no one can remember how they even came to that decision. Synergy at it's finest... lawl. Oh well I do what I do and try and tolerate it the best I can without going insane. I mean, I do make a lot of money and I get to travel around the world all the time and make connections that I can use later to my advantage but sometimes it sucks when I put in so much effort for no reward. What else sucks... well I got a flat tired yesterday which sucked balls. Took me 30 bloody minutes to get it changed and no one stopped to help me. Not like I actually expected anyone to stop and help me but hey... it would have been nice. I also found out that the old gym I used to work out at is still charging my credit card even though I canceled it 4 months ago. So I go down there and I have to talk to some dumbass sales rep named Judy who don't know jack about squat and I am like doubleyouteeeff mate? And she is like huh? anyways eventually I was able to talk to some musclehead douchebag named Scott who was just trying to sell me a new membership etc and saying how they would just discount that toward the fees. I was like !! and he was like :o so I just stormed out of there and figured I would try my luck dealing directly with my bank about the matter. My bank wasn't very helpful because they told me to talk to them which I already did so now I have to call their head accounting place in California where their head office is located to get the situation resolved. I called earlier and I got put on hold for like 10 minutes. What else sucks, well I am getting a sore throat. Whether here in the city has been shitty as hell and I haven't been dressing properly. Also I have to walk out to the lot multiple times a day plus take people for test drives back and forth so I think all the hot cold hot cold switching has contributed to that. I have a quite a few messages online from new girls that I had initiated contact with. I spent part of the day yesterday at work when things were slow to do some surfing and pick out some girls I would like to connect with, then send them each a personalized long message. I have a fairly good hit rate with the initial messages I send because I take the time to write something interesting and not so male typical because the girls you meet online have a radar for that sort of thing. There is one really cute Korean girl I have met named Shuzi and yeah I know her name is weird lol but she is really cute so it just seems cute to me now. I have a thing for cuteness. I studied tae-kwon-do when i was a kid but that is all i know about korean girls. She doesn't seem as polite as I would have imagined korean girls to be but maybe that is because so far I have only met Japanese girls who are super polite. She is really into anime and was asking me about all these different anime's because I had said "yeah I like anime too" which really meant I had seen Princess Monoke and Akira lol. I had never heard of any of the titles she was rhyming off and when I googled them later they all looked hella gay and I was like wtf this girl is an oddball. I wonder if she like tentacle rape too? I have also been chatting a lot with this white trash girl named Rhonda. She literally lives in a trailer park. She is really hot and she is only 24 years old but she dresses really trashy and her hair is all wild and shit and she has facial piercings but you can tell she is really hot under there. She lives with her crazy parents, and I feel sorry for her, I almost feel like rescuing here. I am going to try and take her out this weekend but I don't know where to take her that won't intimidate her plus I dunno if she actually has any respectable clothing to wear to a decent restaurant. Also I am going to feel awkward rolling through a trailer park in my 500 benz.

Still haven't heard back from Sharon yet. That whole situation makes me feel cheap and used. I have never had a girl just sleep with me and then never call me again. I have only experienced me doing it to them. This has given me a new perspective on life at least in terms of what women are capable of. I have been getting plenty of messages from Maria and I have been a bit cold to her because I am not really in a rush to go out with her again because of her baggage. The thing is the more I push this girl away, the more she wants me, so it's not really working out very good.

I went on a date with a Persian girl on Saturday night so lemme tell you about that. I took her to a place called Bottega del Vino which is a high end Italian restaurant. The place was pretty overpriced but the food was really good and so was the wine. She was very impressed with the place but then again she is only 23 years old so she hadn't experienced much in life I don't think. She was very attractive and I was looking at her arms to make sure they weren't too hairy because these middle eastern girls tend to have hairy arms but hers were ok. She had big bouncy natural breasts and they were quite distracting most of the night. She moved to New York from Iran when she was 12 years old. She told me some horror stories about her homeland and I was happy for her that she was able to get out of there and come live in the USA. She said she experiences racism for being from Iran and with everything going on in that country with the uranium processing etc I am not that surprised. I had a veal dish and she ate some vegetarian risotto which I sampled and it was really good. I miss having good risotto but I never order it at a restaurant because they usually serve it as a main course and who wants to eat nothing but rice as a meal?

We talked for a long time and she told me she hadn't really ever been in a real relationship before and that she had mainly hooked up with guys that were douche bags and bad boy type of guys and she wasn't sure why she liked those guys so much but said she wanted to find something more real and perhaps fall in love with someone. After dinner I suggested we go somewhere else for drinks but she suggested we go back to her place and I was like um... ok.

So we arrive at her condo by taxi and I am starting to feel nervous as I do not know what to expect from this girl. She seemed a bit conservative and reserved but after hearing about the kind of guys she was dating I started to think maybe this girl is a bit of a quiet wild one. We get into her small cozy apartment and I take off my shoes, turn around to start saying something and her lips are pressed up against mine and I was like wtf but yay. We ripped our clothes off on the way to the bedroom and I tripped on something and bailed on the ground hard. It was pretty distracting to be in pain but I suffered through it and got her onto the bed.

The next morning I laid there in her bed while she was in the shower thinking that was a bit of a surprise. I felt pretty good about myself and was tempted to just slip out the door and head on home but she emerged naked from the bathroom before I could leave and the next thing I knew she was straddled on top of me and I never ended up leaving until about noon. I was killer hungry and had a craving for a good philly cheese steak. Stopped on the way home at this joint I know, picked up my sandwich and went home. Life is good. Meeting girls online is a lot of fun

So I have not heard back from Sharon yet and I am pretty pissed off about that even thought things are going well. I really thought she was going to be the one sigh. Anyhoo, I have been chatting with this Spanish girl named Maria for some time now and she expressed that she loves sushi so I told her I would take her to an awesome place. I searched online and thanks to this nice sushi review guide I found, I was able to select Jewel Bako in the East Village to take her to.

The place was amazing and was definitely some of the best sushi I have ever had. Yes it was expensive but I was prepared for that going in and we didn't drink any alcohol while we were there so the bill wasn't too bad. The interior was amazing, the service was amazing and I would definitely go back.

After dinner I decided to switch gears and took her to 11th Street Bar which is an Irish Pub. We had some beers and just chilled and talked for a long while. Turns out that she is 28 years old and she has a 7 year old daughter. I acted like having a kid wasn't a big deal but in my head I was disappointed and unsure if I could handle that kind of "baggage". SHe was definitely mature for her age, but I guess having a kid young will do that to you. She said the father was a deadbeat and was living in Madrid.

She told me she would like to have more kids in the future which again is something I am not sure I want. She was very attractive, and yet very typical looking for a latin woman. I could tell she was definitely attracted to me but she also came across as a very cautious girl and I was thinking that I could probably score with this girl but I wasn't sure if that would open a can of worms... is this the kind of girl I really want?

I took her home, we exchanged a brief kiss and I told her I would talk to her online again soon.

I have been chatting with this woman named Sharon online for a few weeks now and she has finally agreed to go out with me on a date. She is divorced and she is older than me, but she looks really good in her pics and on her webcam when we chat. She has a little boy who is 8 years old and he seems like a good kid. Her husband left her a few years ago, she still really hasn't told me why.

I drove to her house and picked her up. As soon as I saw her long brown hair as she walked out into the crisp cold New York night, my heart started to race. I am used to dating girls that are my age or younger, yeah usually younger so I don't have a lot of experience with older women... though I really shouldn't use that term older women since she doesn't look "old". Her perfume was intoxicating... I don't know what it is, but I'm addicted to the strange scent of a new woman... it's exciting and foreign all at the same time. She had really sexy hips and I had this feeling my conversation wasn't going to be too intelligent tonight. So first we went for dinner at Arabelle Restaurant on 64th St. near Madison Avenue.

The place was amazing. The whole ceiling is round like a dome and gold colored. She was very impressed with the place and I don't think she has much experience dining in high end establishments. She was radiating at the table and the whole time I kept thinking, man I can't believe she is 43 years old... what do I do with a woman like this (other than the obvious)? I ordered a bottle of red wine and we dug into heavy conversation. There was such a build up to meet, that when we finally met it was great. All that chatting online with her made me feel like I already knew her, but once we were there face to face I realized I had only scratched the surface and I was very excited. She was smiling a lot and looking quite sexy in the black dress she was wearing. I had a veal dish and she had salmon. The food was amazing. I will definitely going back there often just based on the food alone.

She was quite knowledgeable for being 43 and yet she had a very young spirit to her and dare I say some innocence which was very refreshing. I felt more jaded than her. After dinner we talked quite a long time, until the restaurant was closing in fact. This was not one of those dates where I slam back drink after drink and visualize the girl naked the whole time she blabs in my ear about her pet cat... no no... I was actually listening to this woman speak and giving her my undivided attention. There was nothing sexual or intense about the whole evening. Just a lot of smiling and soft speaking. This is why I was shocked when we got to her place that she invited me up.

We had one amazing night and I left around 3am grinning from ear to ear after an incredible night of passion. I really hope she was being sincere about the things she was saying because I think that this one could be the one... despite her age.

I really wanted to take this German girl I met to a good Thai restaurant. I looked online to try and find some good reviews of some places and thanks to this nice review, the night went very well. The place we went to was called Sriphraphai in Long Island. I'm glad I made reservations because the place was very busy. Ordering food was a bit of a laugh and my date looked overwhelmed by all the choices and lack of knowledge of Thai food. I ordered a duck dish and she got something vegetarian. I drank a couple of double Bloody Marys kind of quick so most of the eating experience was a bit blurry. She said she liked it, but wouldn't be in a rush to do Thai again :/ That sucks because I really like Thai food and was hoping we could make this a regular thing. We took a cab to her place, exchanged a nice kiss, and she got out. She wasn't really giving me the vibe to come up etc so I played it cool and said goodnight and took the cab back to my place.

I guess for my first real post here I'll share a story about a girl I took out a couple of weeks ago. First off, about the girl: She is 24, just graduated from Columbia in English and is trying to get a job as a school teacher. Not really my type since I didn't go to college and most my friends work for internet businesses, but we really seemed to hit it off so after our first date (which was not much more than coffees and a walk through the park), I decided to try to impress her with something a little higher class without breaking the bank (expensive cocktails aren't that bad if you arrange to meet after dinner!) Plus I've been meaning to check out the Please Don't Tell Club for a while...

The club itself was cool as hell! You walk in through this phone booth inside of another restaurant (Crif Dogs... yes it's gimmicky, but it gave it a great underground exclusive feel). We were there somewhat early (9pm) and on a weekday (tuesday), so it was easy to get intimate seating in the corner... The bartender threw together some great drinks which really was the highlight of the night. I'm usually a beer, wine, and scotch guy, (although my usual clubbing drink is a captain morgans and coke), but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try out some of their featured items, like a martini made from bacon-infused bourbon and maple syrup! I really did have a blast, and got pretty tipsy towards the end.

My date was not as impressed with the place though... I think it was a bit intimidating for her, and she was kind of uncomfortable until she had a few pomegranite martinis herself... That's not to say we didn't have a good time together, but I think the environment kind of threw her off (especially coming from a college background) and we may have had a better time at a local sports bar type of place. Oh well, live in learn... I'll definitely go back there even if she doesn't!

We agreed on a date number three, but I haven't called her yet... Maybe one night next week if I'm in the mood for something more cultural, like theatre? Not really my style but I try to keep an open mind.

Well I'm 27, and I've been living as a bachelor in Manhattan for a few years now, and I figured with how popular blogging is that I could start my own site about being a single guy in the new york dating scene (fuck I hate terms like that). So here's a little bit about me...

I work for a pretty big web design firm in sales... Sounds like a boring job but it's actually pretty cool, most of our clients are either clothing labels or restaurant chains, and we have two music labels as well so we get to design each artists website. No, I am not allowed to drop names.

I live in Chelsea. I share a townhouse with a buddy and we've lived here a couple years (yes we're both straight, lol). I've been thinking of checking out the Battery Park area as that seems a little quieter and a little more my style, but we'll see.

My last long term relationship was over five years ago, and since then I've had a couple of girlfriends here and there but nothing that materialized into anything meaningful. My goal I guess is to keep enjoying single life until my thirties, and then think about settling down... Hopefully by reading this blog I will help any guys in a similar situation with meeting women!
