Tried A Text Message Dating Service

I have been considering getting into text message dating... Essentially it is just like on-line chatting other than you deliver text messages and get to interact with new people that way. I believed it would be great to try it out because I am always using my Blackberry. I eventually signed up to TextNDate and tried it out. A buddy of mine sent me the web link over MSN and actually hyped it up, therefore i thought what the heck.

Right away I met this girl from Brooklyn. The lady sounded pretty great, turns out we are into many of the exact music, and are around the same age. We basically made plans to go out this friday for dinner so I will post how it went (of course, if interacting with girls with your mobile phone seriously is effective).

I became acquainted with a large amount of different girls as well, many promising as well as some kinda weird, nevertheless I made the decision to just target just a few considering it is a lot to keep track of! I wish I can figure out how to group my contacts on my cell phone, that'd help make it a bunch much easier to deal with. There are an unexpected number of girls by New York City to pick from.

The very best part about this seemed to be I can mail simple messages while I had been in the office, at the grocery store, no matter what, just like I had been texting my pals... Sometimes being stuck to the computer will get tedious you know? I had a pretty entertaining discussion with this one girl despite the fact that I had been visiting relatives even! Not being picky enough

That is the last time I hook up with a girl in sales. I dunno what is wrong with these women but I guess being in sales for so long makes them really jaded and masculine. They are cool to hang out with as a friend but they do not make very good lovers. She would just say random things that were gross or act like a guy in too many ways. Also I hate listening to people talk who talk too much or repeat themselves. I guess the thing is that she is a bit obnoxious and that is not the kind of girl I am looking for. I should have taken that into consideration when I first met her but I have never dated a girl in sales before so I thought it would at least be an educational experience for me and I was right. I sent her an email last night explaining that I am looking for something long term right now and I just didn't see it working out that way. I have not got a reply yet and I may never get one. Part of me hopes I don't hear back from her because that would be so much easier lol. Work has been pretty busy lately which is a good thing since I am a workaholic lol.

I went through all the girls I was talking to actively and asked myself if I could see myself with them long term. In almost every case the answer was no so I just deleted them or sent them a message telling them that was the case. I am now down to two girls that are potential candidates but I have never met either of them. I have only been chatting with them. I realized that I do have very high expectations when it comes to the physical appearance of my potential long term mate and I am kidding myself to be talking to and dating girls that are not up to par with what I want so I am going to be far more picky from now on and if it means going on less dates and being lonely until I meet girls that fit this criteria so be it. One girl her name is Holly and she runs a spa. She is not quite as thin as I normally would like but her face is very very attractive and for me, the face is the most important thing. I am obsessed with gorgeous women. I would take a good looking woman that is slightly overweight vs a thin ugly girl. I really like her personality so far and I am anxious to meet her but she is not on MSN much.

The other one is this girl who is half Jamaican and half white. She is tall and good looking and she says she goes to the gym 5 days a week so she must have a nice body. I can kind of tell how hot she is from her pics but not totally. I will have to meet her in person to see if I am really attracted to her or not. Holly on the other hand has very very clear pictures of herself with no makeup and she looks damn good so I know I will like her, I just hope I can tolerate her body lol. She is tall also, I dunno what it is, but my whole life I have been with petite women and now all the women I am meeting are tall. I also fancied tall women, I mean my ideal girl is a model who does yoga basically lol. I have message both of them today telling them that it has been great chatting with them but I really want to meet them so when can we get together for coffee. Hopefully I will hear back from both of them very soon and get to go out on a couple of dates so I have something more interesting to post here on my blog for my next entry. Talk to y'all soon!

Unexpected interruption for the win!

None of the girls that had messaged me while I was out turned out to be any good. I have decided to start spending some time talking to kids at high school about the perils of drinking and driving now that I have my own experience to share on that matter. I think I can help a lot of people. Let me talk about girls though because I know that is what you are all interested in. I finally got the money for my car from my insurance company and my rates will not be going up because it wasn't my fault. I took that money and went and bought a new car. They don't make the 55 series anymore so I got the new one which is the E63. It is heavier but it has more power, this one has 507hp. I like it, but I prefer my 55. I went with the E though because I am sick of the 2 door coupe I had before. I almost crashed it already lol, came around a corner on to a tight street and there was an ambulance coming right at me. Not fun times lol. Work has been pretty good, I am back to 100% on every level now. I just need to score more girls. I have gone out on a few dates lately. I can't really say that any of the girls are relationship material.

Well let me tell you about one girl I took out that went well. She is older than me, she is 31 and she is an account executive for a big software company. Account executive really means that she is a salesman. She isn't super cheesy though and irritating like most sales people. I rock it from the start till the beat is gone to quote Groove Armada. I am listening to the song "Suntoucher" it has such an awesome beat yo. Anyways, I had a good time with her. I picked her up on Friday and she was like omg nice care and I was all like yeah bizzatch... ok maybe I didn't say that. I don't know why I am in such a giddy playful mood right now but anyways i picked her up and we went to this nice placed called Marseille which is this super cool Mediterranean place. It is actually not that expensive of a place but the food is really good. We both had chicken which I thought was interesting. I was like oh I hope this girl doesn't order like a salad or something homosauce. We drank some wine and talked for a while. She is pretty attractive but she did talk quite a bit. I am going to chalk that up to her being nervous.

After dinner we took a drive down to the water and just sat in my car for a while listening to the radio and talking. Eventually I reached over and kissed her and she was a pretty good kisser. We kissed for a while and were just sitting there chilling and it was a full moon. So I was in the middle of kissing her when I nearly shit my pants from the sound of a flashlight rapping against my window. I was like wtf then realized it was a cop. I rolled the window down and he asked me what we were doing. I said making out lol. He kind of laughed then started to ask me about my car. He said he was familiar with the model but had never seen one or been in one. I told him to gimme his card and that I would give him a call sometime and we could hang out and I could take him for a spin and maybe even let him drive it a bit. I mean it can't hurt to have a cop as a friend. She was pretty impressed with the way I handled things. We made out for another hour or so and kept talking about stuff then eventually I took her home. I have been chatting with her since then and she seems like a pretty cool lady. The only thing is that she works really long hours, even longer than I do.
